Meet the Clerk and Master
Cristi Scott was appointed Clerk and Master of the Davidson County Chancery Courts on December 1, 2003. Prior to her appointment, Cristi served as an attorney with the Metropolitan Department of Law for nine years, specializing in contracts, legislation, and delinquent real property taxes. Cristi is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and received her Juris Doctorate from the Howard University School of Law in 1990. Upon graduation from law school she served as law clerk to the Honorable Irvin Kilcrease, Jr. retired Chancellor. She has also worked as an attorney in private practice and as a staff attorney with the State of Tennessee, Department of Commerce and Insurance.
